Staple Event at KIFF. Katsuben performers (silent movie narrators) and comedians team up in pairs to take on the challenge of showcasing various films through Katsuben narration.
The films screened include silent comedy masterpieces, and the “Kyoto News,” an old news program whose footage offers an insight into the lives and culture of people in the streets of Ichii in Kyoto over half a century ago.
