Opening Ceremony- Thursday, October 17
Held at Nishi Hongwanji Temple Southern Noh Stage(Important Cultural Property)
The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Minami Noh Butai of Hongwanji, an important cultural property and “Cultural Property of Ancient Kyoto”, registered as a World
Heritage Site.
Many guests will be welcomed in this profound and historic place, where the audience will be seated facing the national treasure （ Konoma ）.
We plan to hold an award ceremony to present the Shozo Makino and Toshiro Mifune Awards.

Closing Ceremony- Sunday, October 20
On October 20 , the final day of the Kyoto International Film and Art Festival, a Closing Party will be held. Screening footage of the 4 - day festival, participating guests and festiva l staff will gather to look back on the events, concluding the festival.
