The film first appears to be a powerful documentary that portrays the residents who waver between the joys and sorrows of being movie extras... until the story runs into an unexpected turn of events through bizarre happenings and curious characters.This is an ambitious, fake documentary-style film that captures the dream of producing a movie and the fondness for the life of the nameless.
Actors Koji Yamamoto, Yuki Saito, Yasufumi Terawaki, and Nobuhiko Obayashi enter the stage one after another using their real names.
