“The Boy Detectives Club” series by Rampo Edogawa is a highly popular series that began serialization in the
magazine “Shonen Club” (Boy’s Club) in 1936.
This is a film adaptation of the story of the beginning up until the launch of “Ultra Boy Detectives Club NEO”, and is told as an unorthodox school mystery set in the present day. The story is based on the fundamental concept of the recurrent clashes beyond multiple generations between the descendants of the main characters, teenager Kobayashi, Kogoro Akechi, and the Fiend with Twenty Faces.
The main character Yoshiro Kobayashi is played by Mahiro Takasugi.
